Always carry a backup body.
This is the lesson I learned last night.  Again.  What is the exact deal with my Canon 5D body breaking the night of events where I am actually obligated to use it, i.e. I’ve been booked for a job?!  This happened to me last year at the WITNESS Gala.  The mirror broke in the housing.  Just fell off into the body.  Last night, I was booked to shoot photos of this weekly Purple Sneakers event...
